The pavilion dedicated to the national Renaissance offers a clear presentation of the economic, political and cultural development of Albania from the beginning of the 19th century up to the proclamation of Independence.

Through the objects on exhibition the visitor has the possibility to get to know better the Albanian handicraft productions in the various cities of Albania like Skutari, Lezhe, Prizren, Elbasan, Berat, Korça etc.  The commercial connections between the Albanian and Balkan cities are introduced graphically in a map. Part of the pavilion is dedicated to illustrate the lifestyles in the city and the countryside. A part of the pavilion is dedicated to the anti-Turkish movements, like that one of the reforms of Tanzimat, than were extended throughout the Country. An important place is occupied by the movements for culture and for the Albanian school like the "Evëtari" by N. Veqilharxhit, the Frashëri brothers, Dora from Istria, J. De Rada, Zef Serembe, Zef Jubani, K. Kristoforidhi.  The Albanian Confederation of Prizren (10th June 1878) is highlighted, it is one of the most important events of our national history of end 19th century for its character of Proclamation of Independence, with the creation of an Albanian administration, the creation of the organized army, etc The attention is attracted to the desk of Sami Frashwri where personal objects are exhibited together with original works. Next to it there is one of his quotes << The illiterate man is in his sleep and when he becomes learned he is awake>>.

A section is dedicated to illustrate the attempts of the Albanian patriots, outside and inside the Albanian territory, to create an Albanian school and alphabet. The attempts were crowned with success with the opening of the first Albanian school in Korca in 1887 and, later on, with the Conference of the Monastery illustrated through a document that refers the decisions made by the Conference on the alphabet still in use. The activities of the patriotic and cultural associations outside from Albania are also introduced extensively .Objects, photos and documents of the times of the War for Freedom, like the cloak of Çerçiz Topulli, a wallet belonging to Mihal Gramenos, bring back to life the atmosphere of the great anti-Turkish Revolts of the beginning of the 20th century, which prepared the way for the General Revolt of 1912 that ended with the Proclamation of National Independence.

Among the important documents are the Memorandum of Gërçe, a document of the meeting that took place on 23rd June 1911, relative to the leadership and the continuation of the War. The section ends with some significant objects: a table flag, the glass belonging to Ismail Qemali, the sword used by Isa Boletini, the original document of the Proclamation of Independence of Albania with the photo of the participants at the National Assembly of Valona on 28th November 1912.
